qualia partners with Maison Balzac to create signature collaboration

Hamilton Island’s luxury resort, qualia, has partnered with renowned boutique candle brand Maison Balzac to develop an exclusive signature candle, ‘The Island’.
 
The limited edition candle was developed in conjunction with Maison Balzac following qualia’s Weekends of Wonderment event earlier this year, and marks the start of a long-term partnership for the two iconic luxury Australian brands.
 
Hamilton Island Brand Manager, Nicky Tindill said the collaboration with Maison Balzac was an exciting opportunity for both brands.
 
“qualia celebrates everything that is spectacularly Australian and as two of Australia’s most popular luxury brands, the opportunity to collaborate with Maison Balzac on a creation which truly embodies the spirit of qualia was too good to pass up,” Ms Tindill said.
 
“Hamilton Island has worked with Maison Balzac previously as part of its Weekend of Wonderment offering and the release of a signature candle was a natural progression for both qualia and Maison Balzac.”
 
Maison Balzac’s candles are a fusion of founder Elise Pioch’s childhood in the South of France and some of Australia’s most popular native flora. Since its inception in 2012, Maison Balzac has established a strong following with each candle hand-designed by Pioch to evoke memories or experiences for users; and the qualia signature candle is no different.
 
Tranquil, secluded and beautiful, qualia instils a sense of calm and wellbeing, and guests can now look forward to taking a piece of the resort home with the new signature candle.  Aptly named ‘The Island’, the candle encapsulates qualia’s beauty with notes of Bergamont, Watery Green, Frangipani, Ylang Ylang and Hibiscus accompanied by Amber, Musk and Vanilla.
 
‘The Island’ signature candle truly transports guests back to the resort’s setting amongst natural Australian bushland, overlooking the tropical beauty of the Whitsundays.
